Andhkvoy is a small town is northern Afghanistan. Located in the Faryab Province at 36° 55‘ N by 65° 06‘ E Andhkvoy is on the Qey??r River. The town was a part of Turkistan but was allotted with other territory to Afghanistan in 1885. The population of the is estimated to be 13,000 people which is made of mainly Turkmen, with Uzbek and Tajik minorities.
