Andrew Strauss is ECB cricket committee chief


Not too long ago knighted former England captain Andrew Strauss has been appointed chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s cricket committee.

The 42-year-old, who served as director of England cricket from 2015 to 2018, had stepped all the way down to take care of his spouse, Ruth, who died of a uncommon type of lung most cancers. In his new position, Strauss will monitor all ranges of cricket in England and Wales to make sure a “thriving skilled sport on the coronary heart of the game”.
