Clothes firm refutes Azad’s claims


Cascades India, the corporate which was awarded the contract to produce clothes to the Delhi cricket workforce, has contested the claims by former Check cricketer Kirti Azad, who had alleged that correct course of had not been adopted in finalising the contract.

Arjun Gupta, proprietor of Cascades, stated on Wednesday, “I wish to inform you that, for awarding this contract, the method was carried out in 4 phases. All the businesses had been requested to return with their samples and their quotations.”

The 2-member Cricket Advisory Committee of Sunil Valson and Yashpal Sharma studied the samples and the quotations.

“They’d shortlisted 5 firms for the second spherical after we had been requested to make the ultimate manufacturing samples with the DDCA brand,” stated Gupta.

In keeping with Gupta, “The selection was decreased to a few — TYKA Sports activities, Jalandhar, Sqad Gear, Gurgaon and our firm (with the model title) Kragbuzz Sports activities, Delhi.
