CMA finds ‘intensive issues’ over Sainsbury’s-Asda tie-up | Enterprise Information


Britain’s competitors watchdog has discovered “intensive” issues over the deliberate tie-up between Sainsbury’s and Asda – and thinks it is going to be “tough” for the deal to go forward.

The Competitors and Markets Authority (CMA) mentioned the proposed merger might result in increased costs and a fall in vary and high quality in shops.
